Regional Arts Exhibition
The Regional Arts Exhibition has concluded for festival 2011. West Michigan owes a special debt of gratitude to GRAM for hosting this year's Competition and Exhibition.
Thank you to everyone who submitted art and thank you to all the volunteers who worked so hard these past few days and who will continue working to bring this Exhibition into being.
Congratulations to George Peebles for the 2011 People's Choice Award given to Entry #187, "Autumn Woods."
Four NEW awards were added after the Awards Ceremony took place. As we could not congratulate these aaaartists on stage during festival 2011 adn recognize the award sponsors we are doing so here. They are:

The 2011 Regional Arts Competition and Exhibition was hosted by the Grand Rapids Art Museum, 101 Monroe Center in downtown Grand Rapids.
- The Competition is always open to all artists who live in Allegan, Barry, Ionia, Kent, Montcalm, Muskegon, Newaygo, and Ottawa Counties. There is no age limit.
- Check this site in Late February or early March of 2012 for information on the festival 2012 Regional Arts Competition and Exhibtion.

Postcards have been sent to all artists who submitted work notifying them whether or not their submitted pieces have been accepted.
