For Kids
Kids of all ages will enjoy creating art, listening to stories, playing on a giant tire swing and more. Bring the whole family!
Festival offers TONS of fun, free stuff for kids to do!
- Paint-In and Glue In, in the Fifth Third Parking lot off Ottawa Avenue offers kids ages 4-12 the opportunity to create their own masterpiece.
On the Federal Building Lawn north of Calder Plaza, we offer:
- The Mad Hatter - where kids create fanciful headgear with their own personal touch.
- Face Painting
- Printmaking - the art of silk-screening on your own T-shirt or on paper.
- Storytelling - master storytellers spinning marvelous tales.
- Chalk the Walk - sidewalk art on a grand scale – done by you, the artist!
Behind the County Building, visit Swing 'n Art,where science and art come together in one-of-a-kind artworks.
Hours of the kids activities are as follows:
- Friday - Noon-7:30pm
- Saturday - 10am-7:30pm
- Sunday - 11am-3:30pm
